The only thing we Frogs love more than discovering awesome new podcasts is sharing them with YOU! Today we’re all about friend of the Frog Katherine Canipe and her delightful pods Boys and Ghouls and Carrie-On: The Sex and the City Podcast.

Boys and Ghouls is hosted by Kat and Marshall Hicks, who collectively know pretty much everything there ever is to know about horror movies. Ever. Self described as “a horror movie podcast hosted by a warm and engaging duo,” you can feel their deep, genuine LOVE for the genre seeping through your speakers and engulfing you in a comfy, inviting, horror movie HUG, like a blood-bath after a long hard day.

Speaking of blood baths, check out Kat getting bloodied up Carrie-style for Mingle Media TV’s Red Carpet Report!

Boys and Ghouls recently celebrated its 3rd anniversary on April 13th and Kat and Marshall will be attending ScareLA on August 8th if you want to hunt them down for an in-person horror squeeze!

Check out all their episodes here, and take a listen to the latest episode, where Kat and Marshall discuss the beautiful/deadly women of the night in Vamp (1986), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)and Bordello of Blood (1996).

Kat is also one of the brilliant voices behind Carrie-On: The Sex and the City Podcast, where she deftly deconstructs each episode of Sex and the City with the help of co-host Alec Wells, a bevy of hilarious guest stars, and one or more cocktails.

Past guests have included Clarke Wolfe (host of’s Sleepy Hollow podcast SleepyCast), Daniel Montgomery and Matthew Scott Montgomery (Terror Twins and co-hosts of the Goosebumps podcast Welcome to DeadCast), actor/singer/songwriter Joe Gillette, BFT Comedy’s Riley Rose Critchlow, and actress /author, Abbie Cobb!

Carrie-On is about to start in on Season 3 of Sex and the City so now is the time to catch up! Head on over to their PodBean site to browse past episodes and start your binge! And, in the mean time, check out episode one of Carrie-On, with guest star Matthew Scott Montgomery, here:

Aside from hosting and producing these fabulous pods, Kat is an actor, singer and dancer, AND she spends her days working for the influential nonprofit organization, Children Mending Hearts.

“Children Mending Hearts is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged youth through educational and arts programs that build empathy and global citizenry. Our goal is to directly engage the youth of America in global children’s causes where they can positively impact the life of another child and ultimately realize their potential to effect change both in their own community and around the world.” Check out their website for ways to get involved!

Happy listening, Froggies!
