You heard right, Froggies! David Fickas has whipped up a fresh batch of performers to tickle your ear bones when I Made You A Mix Tape returns to Hotel Cafe this Thursday, March 31!

After making his Mix Tape debut last month, Chris Brochu is back for more! He’ll be kicking off the show at 8:30pm, and you won’t want to miss his grooviness. Also coming back to the Mix is the impeccable Rachel Kaplan, armed with her incredible voice and ukulele. Doing what they do (i.e. blowing audiences away with raw talent) are top-notch regulars The Beamer Bros. & Will Todisco and solo act John Bobek.

Speaking of solos…

Cori Cable Kidder — a member of the Swing Dames vocal trio, who previously heated up the Mix with their ’40s flavor — will be going it alone this time around, promising to deliver a taste of her Ovation-nominated performance in Always…Patsy Cline.

Speaking of puppets…

Did you say puppets? You didn’t? Funny, we thought you did. But maybe we were just thinking of Pam Severns who will be joining the Mix for the first time. She has puppets!! Also jumping in as a first-timers are the lovely Kincaid Walker, and the lovely Lauren Rubin who slayed at the Mint earlier this month as part of a slaying Lizzy Borden musical.

Speaking of slaying…

If you were thinking that Andy Hungerford and the glam rock stylings of Zeus’ Hammer were not going to be there on Thursday, you would be wrong. The Hammer will be bringing over-the-top levels of fake hair, hairspray and hair metal to melt your face off. And we’re glad to announce that Coby Brown is back at Mix Tape as well, with a small preview of his own show at Hotel Cafe on April 16th. Mark your calendars for that!

Speaking of calendars…

Are you now thinking that there can’t possibly be any more talent crammed into this one evening of music for only $8? Wrong again, doubters! Scott Fickas, Scott Pitts and Brice Beckham will all be stepping up throughout the show, performing alongside host David Fickas.

Speaking of stepping up…

It’s going to be a solid show, folks. Come out and get your live music fix!
