It’s Follow Friday! The day when we stalk people online because the Internet says so. (We must obey the Internet. Do not cross the web gods or they will strip you of your Likes and cast you to the Trolls in the fiery Comments Section.) This week, for our own #FFF (Frog Follow Friday), we want to take you on a field trip to the modern art museum known as Instagram, which was invented by Vince Vaughn while he was working at Google. Once you find a modem and get “on the line,” run a search for @RDSTALEY. That’s the handle of Ryan Staley, Instagrammer extraordinaire.

Here’s the thing… now that we all have cameras in our pockets every moment of the day, we all think we’re photographers. Ryan Staley is proving that we are not, but he sure as hell is. Do yourself a favor and scroll through Ryan’s amazing pics of street life in Los Angeles. His sense of composition, use of color and impeccable timing would make any college photography teacher WEEP in awe.

Need we show more? Maybe, if Ryan gets enough followers, we can get him a gallery exhibition or a coffee table book or a documentary on HBO that isn’t about murder. So follow @RDSTALEY on Instagram and we promise you won’t look at strangers on street corners the same way ever again! We’d even recommend that you take a swing at what we call #staleyinspired photography. Even though we know from experience that what he does is unique and very difficult to replicate, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try! Use the hashtag #staleyinspired to share your own vision of street life. Here’s one from David Fickas (@dfickas):

And, hey, as long as you’re over there in Instagramland, be sure to check out Aaron Semmel and his @shotgunabeereveryday feed. His year of beers is almost up, and he promises big things for his shotgunniversary. Don’t miss it!

Happy snapping, froggies!
